|
Dome valves provide positive closure between hoppers and blow tanks (Also called Pump tanks or Airlock Feeders). Pressure tight closure is provided by either eccentric shape of the dome or with help of an inflatable seat to prevent leakage. These valves are particularly suitable when material is conveyed to long distances by pneumatic conveying. Due to sealing action taking place only at the end of its closing movement, these valves are particularly suitable for handling abrasive material without wear and tear. |
