It is basically a double strand chain conveyor for handling high
temperature materials, which are dropped in to water & conveyed
with
the chain and flight. The chain strands are submerged in water and moves
at low linear speed and conveys the ash to desired locations. Scraper
Chain Conveyor can be rail mounted for easy removal which provides easy
access to furnace / boiler. Many wet scrappers
have been supplied for handling coal ash, fly ash, slag in steel plant
and sponge-Iron Plants and are working satisfactorily.
