DEMECH valves are designed specifically for long life in Handling abrasive
materials while maintaining a positive seal against pressure and vacuum
in dust collectors and other process equipment. Rotary air locks, by
design, have leakage. When handling abrasive products, the air leakage
increases rapidly due to the wiping, sweeping or scraping action that
occurs during operation. DEMECH valves have a “Perpendicular” seating
action that minimizes wear. Consequently they can handle abrasive products,
highly differential pressures and high temp. with an absolute minimum
of leakage.
DEMECH valves perform well as primary air locks under vessel in
pneumatic conveying systems and also successfully operate as feeders to
negative as well as positive pressure pneumatic conveying systems.
DEMECH valves have many applications in various industries. Resilient
seal design has literally no air leakage thus eliminating the “Fluidization”
that occurs above rotary air lock. |
